Magic Kingdom with Adults

This park is the mother of all the Disney Theme Parks. The first park and the most popular, the only thing you have to worry about is really tailoring your day to adults. After the Peter Pan ride, the Winnie the Pooh adventure, and a trip through the movie of Snow White, we were exhausted from all the little kid rides. We had a little too much Disney at that point, so we left the park early.

Breaking down the rides:

Space Mountain: This is a classic ride that brought me back to when my mother put me on it when I was 5. Compared to the sheer horror and fright I felt then, I had a blast.There is dipping and jerking and sudden dips through space.

Walk Disney's Carousel of Progress: My parents remembered this ride from their childhoods. It lacks some updates, although it has a 2008 date on it. Worth the visit.

Pooh's Playful Spot: I had read that this was the most pupular ride, so we had to go. We got on a 40 minute line to Winnie the Pooh. It was a huge let down - good but nothing like the lead-up.

Stitch's Great Escape: Used to be blood-curtling alien ride, but they recently changed the alien to Stitch from Lilo and Stitch. It is now more geared towards little kids. Watch out for Stitch as he breaths down your neck.

The Haunted Mansion: This ride eis a classic and still a great ride. From the enlongating wall to the busts of great ghost story writers, the tour through the haunted mansion can make anyone's blood pump a little faster.

It's a Small World: They've turned down the music a little so you won't be singing the song for the rest of the day. Have fun guessing all the different countries you see as you take a boat ride through the world.
