Bem Vindo a Brazil

For me, Brazil is a roller coaster of different foods, sounds and smells. After so many trips to Peru, Bolivia and Chile, I became all too comfortable with the language and undeniably beautiful things the three countries have to offer. Brazil for me is completely new - sometimes exciting and sometimes completely exhausting. I also thought that being a Latin American Studies major at Middlebury, I could never really understand the continent without studying Brazil and Portuguese. And I wanted to consider myself "trilingual."So I went to Brazil for five months to study the language, history, politics and everything in between.
