J Crew Final Sales Non-Returnable

If you haven't hit the malls yet, don't walk but run. Everything is on sale. Yesterday, I got great deals from Banana Republic, Lord and Taylor, and J Crew.

I picked up a black winter blazer yesterday that used to be $198 that was marked down to $49.99. They had just a few sizes left and I got lucky enough to grab one of the last ones they had.

When I got to the cash register, the women swiped it and then said, "just reminding you that all J Crew Sales are Final Sales." I wasn't really sure what that meant, so I asked and found out that I can't return it for any reason.

I'm not planning on returning the blazer, but I found it sort of sneaky of J Crew to do that, don't you think? It just so happens that not only are sale items in the story 'final sales' but everything you buy online for sale is 'final sale,' too.

So be careful when shopping in the sale section at J Crew, especially online. Anything you buy cannot be returned, so it's not a good time to order things online to experiment with size.
