People Against Facebook Video Posts
>> Monday, January 12, 2009
I honestly don't get it. You look like a fool, so why do you do it? Facebook recently came out with a video posting function, so almost anyone can send a little video message to another person via messages or wall posts.
So what's the outcome of this phenomena? Girls (mostly...almost always, actually) sit in their room alone and post something to another girl along the lines of, "uhh...I miss you...uh...here's a song I thought you'd like...uh...bye" at which point they blow a kiss into their computer screen and post it on someone's wall.
It's cute when it's more that one person wishing someone happy birthday or something along those lines, but it's usually the circumstance I've described above.
I've seen a bunch of them, as they show up frequently on my news feed, and I sit there every time and ask myself why this person has just posted this meaningless video.
Everyone who posts these videos just ends up looking like a lonely and pathetic person who tries to make themselves look cool by straightening their hair and putting on a new shirt because they know damn well that the whole world is going to look at the video. They're right. It looks dumb, so why do it?
